Avid recommends that you read all the installation instructions

thoroughly before installing the IBM IntelliStation Z Pro 6866 system

into your rack enclosure.

The optional rack-mount kit for the IBM IntelliStation Z Pro 6866

system is provided by IBM. Install the rack-mount kit before making

any connections to the system. The IBM IntelliStation Z Pro 6866

system typically requires five rack units.

Although the rack-mount kit includes documentation for installing the kit,

this document describes the installation process for just the IBM

IntelliStation Z Pro 6866 system. The documentation included with the

rack-mount kit includes installation procedures for multiple IBM computers.

You cannot use the front bezel and cable-arm bracket included with

the rack-mount kit. The cables used with the Avid systems are not

long enough to extend with the cable-arm bracket from the kit.
